Knathan Ryan
About
Knathan Ryan has spent over 30 years writing and performing across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, carving out a sound rooted in American music tradition and shaped by both Memphis’ Sun Studio legacy and the Seattle rock scene of his formative years.
Rock, country, twang, rockabilly, gospel, garage—these influences don’t sit separately in his work; they blur together into a distinct, genre-crossing voice that runs through his solo releases and projects including The Bruised Hearts Revue, SonicDuo, The Frozen Pines and The Silent Ks.
His catalog spans lo-fi early recordings, fuzzed-out indie rock, roots-driven Americana, and lyrically focused modern songwriting, reflecting a career defined by evolution rather than category.
