About Me

Knathan HS_edited.png

Hey there.
For most of my life, I've been attuned to the power of story. I was blessed with grandparents who made an art of it by sharing their lives around a dinner table or walking through the woods–tales and adventures from their youth. Story is a common thread in which we are all united. Whether through song, script, art, prose and yes, design–story is a tie that binds.

I remember the first time I truly recognized story in design. I was 18, working on my beloved 1980 Toyota Celica ST with my dad. As we propped the hood to get to the inner workings, he pointed out a little arrow engraved by the manufacturer on the underside of the hood. The intention was to make life easier for whomever was engaging with the engine. To me, it was remarkable someone had the forethought to purposefully point the way for step one of a spark plug change: prop hood here. Let's explore together and find your "hood moment" for your design.

Since my own discovery of design, there have been many doors pushed or pulled improperly, many delights in subtlety and whimsy–both digitally and physically, and that is how I design and create. I try to notice the small things, point out the great things and hold all things with an open curiosity.

I am also a composer, singer, videographer, copy writer, communications manager, team manager, lead musician, coach, and UX/UI designer.

Feel free to reach out - I’d love to see how I can help you tell your story...or discuss music. Check out some excerpts from my LinkedIn below...
